Another step of this strategic reorientation: Since the beginning of 2005, all appliances throughout Europe are gradually being provided with the new AEG-Electrolux twin logo, which immediately emphasises the affiliation with the world's No.1 manufacturer in the domestic appliance sector and which also serves to enhance the brand.

The fact that fact that customers place a lot of confidence in the world-renowned brand of the Electrolux company was confirmed in the recent Brigitte Communication Analysis in 2004. This analysis confirmed that AEG was the best-recognised and most popular brand amongst German women. As a representative proportion of approximately 25 million women, the market researchers asked 6,600 women between the ages of 14 and 64 questions regarding their purchasing patterns. With approximately 97 percent of those asked recognising the brand, around 66 reporting brand sympathy and 66 percent indicating consumer acceptance, AEG achieved the best results in all examined criteria.

Appliances manufactured by AEG-Electrolux are strongly represented in all distributive channels. The retail trade, purchasing associations, and specialised markets rank among the main distribution channels in the electrical sector.
